If you like to take photographs of your figures, the One Piece MegaHouse Variable Action Heroes (VAH) series is a perfect addition to your collection. Fully articulated, they come with multiple hands, faces, and accessories, making it possible recreate your favorite scenes or attacks. Pre-orders are currently open for a re-release of Trafalgar Law and Dracule Mihawk.
VAH One Piece Trafalgar Law (Pre-order)
Law stands seven inches tall and comes with an assortment of nine hands in total, as well as three faces. His sword, Kikoku, can be taken from its scabbard and his spotted hat is also removable. As with all VAH figures, the limbs have multiple points of articulation allowing for a full range of poses. The head sits on a ball jointed neck and can be tilted, while a chest joint lets Law lean forward. The additional point of articulation in Law’s coat is a nice touch, and is great for showing movement.
The figure has plenty of detail, from the shadows under Law’s eyes to the tattoos on his fingers, hands, and chest. The clothing is nicely reproduced, and we really like the details on Kikoku’s scabbard. Of all of the VAH figures released so far, this has been the one we’ve been most interested in owning.

VAH One Piece Dracule Mihawk (Pre-order)
Mihawk is also seven inches tall and comes with an additional face, removable hat, and approximately three types of hands. Perhaps the most noticeable feature is his sword, Yoru, with its ornate carvings and other decorative elements. The blade is scaled appropriately for the figure and can be held on the back or in his hands. This is really where the articulation makes an impact, as it allows you to recreate tons of action poses with this very large blade. In addition to limbs, Mihawk’s head can also be posed.
As with other figures in the series, there is a high level of detail. His ornate clothing is well rendered, as is his kogatana cross necklace. Our favorite feature is Yoru, as it really stands out.
