The wait for One Piece Box Set 3 is almost over!
At this year’s Anime Boston panel, VIZ confirmed that the next installment of the big One Piece manga box sets, One Piece Box Set 3, will be releasing in October, 2016. Unlike the previous two releases, One Piece Box Set 3 will contain a total of 24 volumes of the One Piece manga.
Due to the comparatively low price and a large number of the One Piece manga volumes, the big One Piece box sets have been positively received by the fans for the most part. Please support One Piece by purchasing its official releases. One Piece episodes are simulcast in a number of countries, and is currently available on the official websites for Crunchyroll, FUNimation, and One Piece Official. Anime fans can start by purchasing the big box sets that were recently released by FUNimation, containing episodes 1-299. Following that, fans can purchase the 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th installments of the One Piece collection sets. Last but not least, the remaining One Piece episodes, including episodes 397-468, are available in the voyage sets. The first volume included in this set will continue the Thriller Bark arc from volume 47 “Cloudy, Partly Bony,” and conclude with volume 70 “Enter Doflamingo.” These volumes cover up to the very first chapter of the gigantic Dressrosa arc, chapter 700 “His Momentum.” The cover for this box set, the exact release date, and any possible bonus goodies are expected to be announced later this year.VIZ introduced the big One Piece manga box sets with “East Blue and Baroque Works” on November 5, 2013 and contained volumes 1 to 23. In addition, the first One Piece box set came with a double-sided poster and Oda’s “Romance Dawn” one shot. Following up the first set, One Piece Box Set 2: Skypiea and Water Seven was released on November 4, 2014 with volumes 24 to 46. Similar to its predecessor, the second box set included a double-sided poster, as well as the special One Piece chapter that was originally released to commemorate One Piece Film: Strong World’s release.
